The SCB14  dry-type power transformer is a new model of power transformer in 2021. The SCB14-12500KVA transformer meets the requirements of a second-level energy efficiency dry-type transformer and is a new type of energy-saving dry-type transformer that the state grid is vigorously promoting.



The SCB14  dry-type power transformer achieves the goals of reducing no-load, load losses, and noise by combining new materials, new processes, independent research and development with technology introduction, and optimizing and innovating the coil structure and core design.

Strengthening Structure Design

  • Strong short-circuit resistance of the coil: The coil was reinforced with a fiber mesh plate, significantly enhancing its ability to withstand sudden short circuit and extending the equipment’s lifespan; the secondary winding is wound with copper foil, improving electrical conductivity and structural stability.

  • Outstanding insulation and crack resistance: The vacuum pressure casting process increases the lightning impulse strength and short circuit resistance; the encapsulation resin has a well-matched thermal expansion coefficient with the copper conductor, effectively preventing cracking caused by temperature changes.
